📢 Important Info

This is a friendly reminder to submit your child's Intent to Re-enroll form that was sent out via ParentSquare last week if you have not done so yet. We have hard copies in the office if needed.
Due date is Friday, February 13. 

We need this form to confirm that your child will be returning to SELS next school year. This will determine the number of spots available in our upcoming lottery. If we do not receive it by the deadline, we will have to assume you are not returning and the spot will be open for lottery applicants. 
 

📆 Our Schedule This Week

Monday: SELS Board Meeting ~ 5:30pm in Conference Room A at the District Office.
Friday: SELS Family Dance ~ 5:30-7:30 pm in the SELS Gym. This is a free SELS Family event! Food will be available for purchase/potluck dessert. More info to come from PTC.

Middle school students do NOT need chaperones

2/10: Community Meeting ~ 9:15 am in the SELS Gym.
2/11: Minimum Day ~ Middle school release 11:45 am; Elementary school release 1:00 pm.
2/12: SELS PTC Meeting ~ 5:30 pm at the Lodge in Tahoe Donner.
2/16-2/20: Ski/Skate Break ~ Reminder we have the entire week off for Ski/Skate Break.
2/27: Middle School–Only Social Event ~ 4:30–7:00 PM in the SELS Gym.

💡 Reminders

  • All SELS visitors, classroom volunteers, chaperones and drivers on fieldwork MUST check in at the office to receive a badge. You need to bring your driver’s license with you. Feel free to ask anyone in the office if you need assistance with this process.

  • We are still getting a lot of emails sent to our old email addresses. All SELS staff emails have changed from @truckeecharterschool.org to @ttusd.org. We are no longer going to be forwarded emails sent to our old domain, so be sure to double check that you are sending them to the correct email & please update your contact records accordingly.

  • Please be sure your children are dressed appropriately for the conditions! Elementary students must have jackets, snow pants, snow boots, hats & gloves for outside play during the winter months. Middle schoolers should have jackets and boots as well.**
