Mark your calendars for an exciting opportunity to dive into mathematics with your student at our annual
Math Morning on Tuesday, December 15th
7:30 AM to 8:15 AM for Middle School
and
9:15 to 10:00 AM for Elementary School

This is a fantastic chance to experience math instruction firsthand by joining your child in the classroom for engaging, grade-appropriate math activities and gaining a deeper understanding of our school's approach to teaching mathematics.

This is open house style so you can pop into more than one classroom during the 45-minute window if you have multiple children.

We had wonderful participation last year and are striving for even higher attendance this year, so please plan to join us!

🍎Principal's Message

Message from Principal Kuttel at Glenshire Elementary

We love seeing our middle and high school students continue to use the Glenshire campus and surrounding recreation areas after school, and we are asking for everyone’s help in keeping the space safe for younger children, families, and community members.

Glenshire Elementary is partnering with local law enforcement and the Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District (TDRPD) to reinforce these important after-school safety expectations:
  • E-bikes and other motorized vehicles are not permitted on the playground, blacktop, or field, even after school hours.
  • Bikes and e-bikes should use the bike lane rather than sidewalks whenever possible.
  • Riders under 18 must wear a helmet when using a bike, e-bike, scooter, skateboard, or other wheeled device.
  • The speed limit in the Glenshire parking lot is 5 MPH for everyone, including cars, bikes, and e-bikes.
  • Once riders reach the sidewalk and quad area, bikes and e-bikes must be walked to the bike racks.

We want our older students to feel welcome in this shared community space, and we also expect them to help us care for it. Please slow down, watch for younger children, follow adult directions, and make choices that keep everyone safe.
You are welcome here. Help us keep Glenshire safe.

Thank you for being a positive example for our younger Eagles!

Just a friendly reminder to pick up your coolers and storage containers once your child's Crew has returned from FW. You can find coolers in front of the office, and storage containers are in the office on the FW table. Thanks again for your support!
