PTC Information
Mission
The Mission of the Sierra Expeditionary Learning School Parent Teacher Crew is to assist our crew and crew leaders by helping with volunteering, organization, and fundraising through our communication with administration and families. We want to help our diverse group of learners achieve academic excellence while developing a strong sense of character and community. We will assist in any way possible to help preserve each child’s natural curiosity and love of learning. We welcome all family members, crew leaders, administrators and staff to our meetings. The SELS PTC is a licensed 501(c)3 nonprofit organization – Federal Tax ID: 32-0342152
Grant Funding
A primary function of the PTC is to raise and allocate funds that directly support SELS students’ education throughout each school year. These funds support various enrichment programs, scholarships, teacher support, and classroom activities. A Grant Funding Process has been established to streamline applications and ensure systems are in place for approvals.
